About
Free Food Offering to the PoorThe program has been successfully launched on 16 September 2017 at the Kamakshi Child Care Centre. All members of the committee have agreed to make this program as one of the projects supported under Kamakshi Child Development Centre. The program has successfully delivered every week since then. A total of 2860 packets has been sent during the year 2018 to 26 families with an estimated total value of the ringgit RM17,000. The food is contributed by members of the committee. We have 17 dedicated team members. Weekly delivery is conducted by team members. A total of 3 hours for collection and distribution is required each week.
Purpose:The purpose of this program is to provide well-cooked food for those in need. This initiative is for the recipient to have at least one meal with the appropriate nutrients in a week (every Saturday)
Number of volunteers involved:As of December 31, 2017, we have a total of 16 donors who provide food once a week.After collection, the food will be distributed by each member (in turns) to 4 zones that are solved. The number of recipients has increased from 20 to 51 packets (26 families)

Free Food Delivery to Hard Core Poor

The program runs on donation of it’s team members . We have total 17 dedicated team members . Weekly delivery done by team members. Total 3 hours of collection and distribution time required every week .
Other Adhoc programs
The team have discovered a family with 8 kids and Husband and wife was leaving in a deplorable house in Ara Kuda Palm oil Plantation. Team helped the family to move to a new house , prepare necessary needed item in the house for the family and supported school going child to be legally register at Pre-school , Primary and Secondary school . Total RM3600 collected for this program
Festival goodies and money delivery
Team also gathered additional donations from team members to bring extra cheers during festival by providing money and cookies donation

Collection of books and used school supplies
This program was launched on 30 December 2017 at the Kamakshi Childcare Center. Collected books have been integrated according to the needs and the latest content of the subject on 31.12.2017.
Purpose:
The purpose of the program is to distribute applicable books and school supplies and still be available to students in need. This initiative is to reduce the burden of the recipient's family and not to drop out during the school semester.
Number of volunteers involved:
All Live and let Life members, other volunteers and local communities have been involved directly in this activity. Additionally, a group of schoolchildren has also helped in the success of this program. This event is very helpful to the needs of the students and to grow the interest of consciousness among us.
